I’m not a fan of taking care of paperwork. I tend to procrastinate when it comes to the administrative part of my business (kinda like now!) ,and I know that’s very bad so I literally have to set a day in my planner to complete these tasks. Well, that got me to thinking how we do the same thing to ourselves when it comes to taking care of your spiritual and mental health.
The world we live in is so very fast paced and can overtake you so quickly that we look around and another year is about to pass. It’s important to MAKE time to recharge your heart and soul to allow you to connect with your inner wisdom. Many clients tell me that the hour on the table is literally the only time for themselves. Yet, there are some who are unable to unplug even for that hour as they keep their phone on for various reasons. It’s important to take time to be still because it’s the silence that we are able to feed our soul and rejuvenate.
I challenge you to make time in your schedule to be still and connect with your inner self. For my husband, he gets up each morning and reads his Bible before starting his day and it’s what helps him face each day. As for me, I like to mediate to help calm my mind and spirit, but it’s not as consistent as my husband. I do find that when I’ve gone long periods of not being still that I feel overwhelmed and off balance which impacts every part of my life. So find a time quiet your mind even if it is for a few minutes of prayer, sitting quietly with a cup of coffee, or whatever feels right for you to refuel your soul!
Sending you blessings of peace and love!
